Autumn Book Tag!

I was tagged by two lovely bloggers to do this tag! They were Raven @Dreamy Addictions and Dani @Perspective of a Writer. Thank you both once more! ❤ 😀 Be sure to check out their blogs, you’re definitely missing out if you aren’t following them!

1. Best autumnal themed book cover?

These are a few covers that scream autumn to me. It’s mostly because of their colours, not to mention that all the covers are beautiful. Another thing that these books have in common is that I haven’t read any of them! (Though I do plan on reading them some time in the future.)

2. Which fictional friend group would you trust with a Ouija board?

I don’t like Ouija boards, I find them to be creepy. That might have to do with the fact that I believe in ghosts. (Sort of.) So I really wouldn’t want any friend group that I like to play with a Ouija board. (Even though there could be some that could deal with them.) That’s why I’m definitely not picking anyone for this question, sorry about that!

3. Which book setting would you love to be celebrating in during Halloween night?

The only book setting that comes to mind is the Halloween Feast from the Harry Potter series. That’s actually the only time in a book that this holiday is celebrated. (Or the only one I read, or remember.) Their Halloween Feast sounds always very fun and I would love to participate in it! Even though something usually goes wrong on Halloween there.

4. Best autumnal food description inside of a story?

Harry Potter has some of the best food descriptions and their autumn food is no exception! Their food at the Halloween Feast always looks delicious (thank you HP movies) and I would love to try it. Lets be real, I would love to try any food from the Harry Potter series.

5. Which fictional character would you dress as?

I would love to dress as Celia Bowen from The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. She is one of my favourite characters and her dresses always sounded gorgeous. Plus I recently found these illustrations of Celia and they made me want to dress up like her even more!

6. An antagonist you would pledge your allegiance to?

Seeing as I picked The Grisha trilogy as my answer I’m sure you can guess who I mean! 😉 He is one of my all time favourite characters and, obviously, one of my favourite antagonists (if not the favourite). I would without a doubt pledge my allegiance to him!

7. The creepiest book you’ve ever read?

Stephen KingI was debating for the longest time which book to pick for this question. Or rather which Stephen King book to pick, as I don’t read much other horror aside from his books.

In the end I decided to go with The Shining, which is one of my favourite Stephen King books and one of my favourite books in general. I read this book when I was in high school and I still think of it often. I definitely need to reread this book some time soon!

This is definitely one of the creepiest books that I have ever read. (The other being It by Stephen King.) I remember reading it and being creeped out by SO MANY things that were happening in this book!

8. A book you’ve yet to read but will read this October?

So October is already over when I’m writing this tag. (Apparently I’m late to this tag without even knowing it!) So I literary have no answer for this question, as I had no particular book planned to read in October. I never do, as I’m a mood reader and pick up whatever I feel like in the moment.

9. Which fictional character would you put in charge of the decorations for a Halloween party?

I would definitely put Magnus Bane in charge of the decorations for ANY party! He already has the experience with organising and decorating for parties, plus his parties always seemed awesome to me. I have a feeling he would go way overboard and make any Halloween party amazing!

I tag EVERYONE who loves autumn and feels like doing this tag!

Thank you very much for reading and I hope that you have an amazing day!

  2. I love the images and gifs you posted with your answers for this tag. They really did capture that special sort of magic that comes along with autumn. 🙂 Especially the Hogwarts feast ones. What fun that would be (assuming nothing went wrong!) 😛

  3. Oh I love this tag Anna, and I agree with literally all your answers as well. 😀 Harry Potter during the Halloween feast would be an incredible way to celebrate Halloween, also the food in all of the Harry Potter books has never failed to make me hungry. I wanted to be on the Hogwarts Express just to buy all the sweets off the trolley like Harry and Ron did. 🙂
Also Celia Bowen would be an incredible character to dress up as. Her dresses for her Night Circuses performances especially, because they were just magic. 🙂
Great answers for this tag, and great post as well. 😀 ❤
