I was tagged by Elsie @Reading Between Worlds to do this tag. I actually couldn’t find the post in which she tagged me in
(I don’t know why she removed it or what happened to it), but this tag looks amazing and I definitely wanted to do it. Once again, thank you for tagging me Elsie! ❤ 🙂 Be sure to check out her blog!

1. What’s your favourite Contemporary book?
The first book that came to my mind was Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe.
(That’s seriously a long title!) I don’t tend to read many contemporaries, it’s because most of the stories just don’t interest me. (With a few exception that is.) Aristotle and Dante is definitely my favourite and I have read it 4 times so far!
2. What’s your favourite Sci-Fi/Fantasy book?
Now this category was very hard for me, after all fantasy is my favourite genre and the one I read most from. And I have A TON of favourites when it comes to it! Picking just one was hell. In the end I decided to go with The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch. I simply adore this book and the characters, especially Locke and Jean! I NEED to reread this book soon, as I really want to continue reading this series.
3. What’s your favourite Crime/Mystery book?
I’m going withe the Cormoran Strike series by Robert Galbraith
(or J.K. Rowling), if I had to choose one book it would be Career of Evil. This series is freaking amazing! The characters are interesting and the mysteries fascinating. I just love the way that Rowling writes mysteries, she always manages to suck me in from page one.
4. What’s your favourite Historical Fiction book?
That has definitely to be The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. I read this book years ago without knowing much about it, the title and cover intrigued me and I decided to buy it randomly.
(This was before I discovered the online bookish community and their love for this book.) The Book Thief completely blew me away, it was such a fantastic heartwarming and heartbreaking book.
5. What’s your favourite ‘Classic’ book?
This was another hard category for me. I have quite a few favourite classics, so picking just one was really difficult. In the end I decided to go with Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I simply adore this book, the characters, the romance and the setting. Pride and Prejudice is definitely one of my favourites, I have read it 3 times so far.
6. What’s your favourite biography?
Actually the only biography that I have read is Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo, so it’s the one I’m picking for this category.
(I think it’s called Zoo Station in English.) This is a story about a girl who gets into drugs and how her life spirals out of control. I read this book when I was around 14 and it affected me quiet a lot. This is one of those books that I just read at the right time in my life.
7. What’s your favourite Children’s book?
That has to be The Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis. This is the book that got me into reading and the first book that I ever read on my own. I used to reread this book a lot when I was little, I was obsessed with it.
(And I watched the movies a thousand times as well.) It’s obvious why I choose The Chronicles of Narnia for this category.
8. What’s your favourite Series?
Okay. Nobody is surprised by my favourite series, after all I simply LOVE Harry Potter!
9. What’s your favourite Trilogy?
I haven’t mentioned lately how much I love The Infernal Devices. So this is the perfect moment to say it again: I love this trilogy! It’s the first one that I read by Cassandra Clare and the one that made me fall in love with the Shadowhunter world. I just adore the characters within this trilogy, especially Will, Jem and Tessa! ❤
10. What’s your favourite Duology?
Without a doubt that is the Six of Crows duology by the queen Leigh Bardugo. Honestly, what else could have I picked? I simply adore these two books, which you may know if you have been following me for a while. The characters, world and story are simply wonderful! If you are interested in more of my thoughts on these books
(and want to see me fangirling about them), you can check out my reviews:
1. What’s your favourite Play?
The first play that came to my mind when I read this question was Faust: Part One by Goethe. I just have fond memories of this play, as we read it in class and had amazing discussions about it. Plus it does help that I read this book together with my best friend and talked about it with her while reading it. And it is a really amazing play as well!
(Which I somehow forgot to mention earlier.)
2. What’s your favourite Poem?
The first poem that came to my mind was The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe, so I’m going with it. In general I really like Poe’s poems.
(With some exceptions, which is normal.) I don’t have much more to add to this, I just enjoy reading his poems and The Raven is my favourite.
3. What’s your favourite Short Story?
Any story in The Bane Chronicles! I adored this short story collection
(or is it a novella collection, I really don’t know). You may know, as I keep mentioning it, I adore Magnus Bane. So getting to read stories about him and his adventures was freaking amazing! I have read most of these stories multiple times as well, I just adore them.
1. If you could only keep one of these, what would it be?
Are you kidding me?! I have to pick just ONE to keep!? Why don’t you just kill me!
I guess I would keep Harry Potter, though it pains me having to pick just one!
