Describe Your Perfect Reading Spot!
My perfect reading spot is anywhere I feel comfortable and cozy. I adore those cute reading nooks that some people seem to have. And YES I WANT ONE AS WELL! Hopefully I will have one in the future (when I move into my own flat – which won’t be for ages, but I can still dream), they always seem so inviting – especially those in front of windows!

Tell Us 3 Book Confessions!
- I’m not interested in reading any Sarah J. Maas books
(more than I have already read that is). I’m not going to go into the reasons why, mostly I have just lost interest in her books. - I don’t tend to watch book to movie/tv show adaptations, even for books that I adored. That might have to do with the fact that I don’t wach that many movies in general, but I also don’t want to be disappointed.
- I always find contemporaries hard to pick up, mostly because I never seem to be in the mood for them even though there are quite a few out there that I’m very much interested in reading.
When Was the Last Time You Cried During a Book?
I don’t cry often while reading. With the exception being the Harry Potter books, for some reason I cry during every single one of them. Seeing that I reread Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in January I would have to go with that being the last time I cried during a book. I actually read the illustrated edition and it was a beautiful experience.
How Many Books Are on Your Bedside Table?
I usually have all the books that I’m currently reading on my bedside table. Sometimes there is only one and sometime there are five, it seriously depends on how much I’m reading at the moment (or rather how many books I’m in the middle of).
Currently there are three on my bedside table:
- The Atrocities by Jeremy Shipp
(on my Kindle), - The Language of Thorns by Leigh Bardugo,
- Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi.

What’s Your Favourite Snack to Eat While You Are Reading?
I don’t tend to eat while I’m reading. I usually just enjoy coffee or tea while reading (and occasionally hot chocolate). But if I had to pick something it would probably be a salty snack (like popcorn, chips or something like that), since I know I won’t be staining my book with them.

Describe How Much Books Mean to You in Just 3 Words!
Fantasy. Escape. Happiness.
Okay. That was really hard, I seriously had to think for a while about this one. There were a ton of other words that kept popping into my mind, but these three resonated the most with me, so I’m going with them.

Ooh this seems like a lot of fun. Thanks for tagging me 😊
I also don’t tend to watch book to movie/TV show adaptations because I’m afraid I’ll be disappointed… Are there any adaptations that you have watched and loved?

It really was a lot of fun. You’re welcome! 😀
Yeah, that’s a fear that I have as well. Well, The Lord of the Rings movies are my all time favourites so there is them. I also like the Narnia and Harry Potter movies. (They are very nostalgic to me.) Those are the only ones that are coming to my mind at the moment. 🙂

I’ve never watched the Lord of the Rings movies (I know, shame on me). The length of the movies intimidate me. Although they aren’t as good as the books, the Harry Potter movies are amazing! 😊

I definitely recommend The Lord of the Rings movies, they are wonderful! 😀 And I agree that the Harry Potter movies aren’t as good as the books, but they are charming in their own way. 🙂

My friend is a big Lord of the Rings fan and has been trying to get me to watch the movies. I’ll have to watch them soon once I have the time 😁

Thank you for the tag! ❤️ I love the questions and will definitely make time to do a post on it. Also, I have that same soapbar tin on the left of the bookshelf, but in square form!

Those were lovely answers, Anna! I am glad you did the tag 😀
Who doesn’t want a reading nook of their own? I’ll tell you – crazy non-readers! It’s just such a dreamy space to relax, with good light.
Also, the Sarah J Maas hype is kind of over, I get why you wouldn’t want to read her books at this point.
But hooooow can you resist the temptation of book to screen adaptations?? I think I am far too curious or maybe just the complete opposite of you in that regard haha

Exactly! Those cute reading nooks are the perfect place for any reader!
Yeah, Sarah J Maas books just don’t interest me.
Hahaha, I knew you would be surprised by that! XD I think it’s mostly because I don’t want to be disappointed by the adaptation and I’m rather lazy when it comes to movies and tv shows in the first place, so there is that as well.

Oookay, fair enough. I really have to stop projecting my tastes in movies and TVs on others haha

Oh brilliant answers for this tag Anna. 🙂 I am definitely one of the people who wants their own book nook. Those pictures are incredible so maybe one day right? 🙂 I’m very glad to see The Language of Thorns on your bedside table if it means you’re currently reading it, I hope you’re loving it, and yes Vicious would be a book I’d recommend to everyone as well. Then again any book by V.E. Schwab is a book I’d recommend to everyone! 😀
Great post, and again great answers for this tag. 🙂 ❤️

Thank you Beth! 🙂 Those book nooks are adorable. Hopefully one day for both of us! 😀 I just finished The Language of Thorns and I LOVED it! It was such a wonderful book and I adored all of the stories. Everyone simply needs to read Vicious! Haha, I agree any V.E. Schwab book is a great recommendation. 😀
Thank you! ❤

This is such a cool tag, Anna! I love getting to know all these facts about you 🙂
I really hope you enjoy the books you’re reading. I actually was a bit disappointed by LoT but I loved the earlier tales (I think they were the Ravka ones, not sure) and it’s such a gorgeous book!
I’m curious about The Forbidden Wish and the Shatter Me series… I need to make time for them.
Thank you for tagging me! ❤

I actually just finished LoT and I ended up loving it. (Yes the earlier ones in the book are the Ravka ones.) I completely agree, it’s such a gorgeous book!
The Forbidden Wish is simply wonderful and I would highly recommend it! 🙂 And I enjoyed Shatter Me, but it wasn’t my favourite – Unravel Me is much better so far.
You’re welcome! ❤

Ah that’s cool! It’s nice when sequels don’t disappoint and are actually better than the first book. It’s the other way around that bothers me >.< I'm looking forward to both, then!
And glad to hear you loved LoT ❤ ❤

Ohhh I am also done with Sarah J Maas! I don’t want to be… but I just can’t get on with her books anymore

I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one. I can’t get on with her books anymore either, so I decided to give up on them.
