So here we are! 😀 Also, as it’s nearing the end of autumn I’m not going to be tagging anyone specific. But if you feel like doing this tag, consider yourself tagged by me! ❤

I actually decided to go with a graphic novel series for this question. It’s the first thing that came to my mind when I read the question so I decided to go with it.
I’m talking about the Lumberjanes graphic novel series by Noelle Stephenson. The story follows a group of friends at a summer camp and their adventures, featuring magic and mythology. There are so many amazing moments in this graphic novel series. The friendship between the characters is wonderful to read about and their adventures are always interesting.
I must say that I enjoyed the first five volumes the most and then Noelle Stephenson stopped working on this graphic novel series and I felt that it lost a lot of its charm
(at least to me). Still, the fist five volumes are amazing!
I’m actually going with the same answer as Meghan, which is Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo. This book just has so much hype surrounding it! I haven’t read it yet, nor do I actually own a copy yet. But I definitely do plan on picking it up in the future, seeing as Leigh Bardugo is one of my all time favourite authors and the synopsis for Ninth House sounds fascinating.
A graphic novel that I read recently that has wonderful friendships is Mooncakes by Wendy Xu and Suzanne Walker. This is a graphic novel set in a little town with the main characters being a witch and a werewolf. Beside being magical this graphic novel is very diverse as well. There are many amazing relationships in Mooncakes, friendships being just one of them.
There are actually many books that warm my heart in different ways. For this question I decided to go with a wholesome and beautiful graphic novel.
I’m talking about The Tea Dragon Society by Katie O’Neill. This is actually a graphic novel for younger readers, it’s very light and fluffy. The characters are all adorable and precious. I love all of them sooo much! The tea dragons are the cutest, they brought me so much joy. Katie O’Neill has also the most adorable art style out there. Literary everything about this graphic novel warms my heart! It also managed to make me very emotional, in the best way possible.
There is actually a sequel to this graphic novel, but I have yet to read it. I’m hoping to get my hands on it soon! I just need more of Katie O’Neill’s art and stories in my life.
When I read this question the first character that came to my mind was the main character from With the Fire on High by Elizabeth Acevedo. I haven’t read this book yet, so I don’t actually know the name of the character. But I do know that she is a very talented chef. I do plan on reading this book in the future, since I have read The Poet X and I enjoyed it a lot.
(I literary couldn’t think of another character who is a chef?)
Just recently I read Theft of Swords by Michael J. Sullivan, which is the first book in his Riyria Revelations series
(or rather the bind up of the first two books). This is a high fantasy series following a thief and mercenary on their adventures.
This book was so much fun! The main characters, Royce and Hadrian, are amazing and I love both of them. They are also such great friends, it’ was a lot of fun witnessing their interactions.
The reason that this book made me “jump for joy” is due to the fact that I discovered a new fantasy series to fall in love with. It’s been a while since a fantasy series has managed to capture my attention this fast! Theft of Swords just made me realise why I love reading high fantasy books and I had a lot of fun while I was reading it.
